Football Player injured in truck accident

This weekend the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, North Carolina. Yet, ahead of this NFL match-up of division rivals the auto accident of Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has taken over the headlines. The quarterback was in a two-vehicle accident on December 9, 2014 with his truck.
Originally, police said he and the driver of a second vehicle were both transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. According to a Carolina spokesman Newton is in fair condition but will have to remain in the hospital overnight for observation. The accident occurred when his truck rolled over near the Panthers home field: Bank of America Stadium.

The Police Department is investigating the cause of the truck accident. Cam Newton was driving a Dodge Ram Truck.
